Reading and Writing Skills

At the heart of all the Treehouse Early Learning Marsden and Manly programs is the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Goals (QKLG) and Belonging, Being and Becoming.

Both frameworks, influence and allow Treehouse to develop a Centre philosophy, that allow children to flourish and grown in growing needs of reading and writing skills.

From early grasping relaxes in the Nursery room to pencil control in the Kindergarten Room, children are provided with an enriched daily program, which promotes the use of reading and writing skills, through a play-based program.

Reading to infants and children creates a early memories of the enjoyment and love of books and creates memories to last a lifetime

Whether it’s story time with our Educators, drawing and writing, to communicate our thoughts or choosing a story book to borrow and take home.

Our community library, offers many opportunities for children to develop and emerge in a world where reading and writing skills, are developed to match their growing minds, in preparation school.
